Sci-Fi Hibernation Pod

This Project was made following the Robot. For this I wanted to create something of a bigger scale than the Robot and try to learn more techniques and model at a faster pace.

Now when you look at this project it might look simple, but during the 3D modeling phase I faced the difficulty of having a lot of tiny elements so I had to divide the project into smaller pieces.

During the texturing process I tried to step away from the reference as well in order for me to use my creativity in texturing and to create more realistic textures.  To enhance the look, I decided to keep the screens exposed. I designed the look of the screens and of course I added a variation of roughness and scratches and finger smudges as seen in the photos below.

Now for the lighting and rendering process, I decided to create simple walls and add a texture in Substance Painter. After that I did the lighting in Houdini and I exported the textures from Substance to Houdini. This was the first project that I decided to do the final stages in Houdini and rendering using Redshift.
