BIM Project
The first course of BIM software was to learn the basics of how to use BIM software and to make simple architectural projects. Then the following course of BIM which was BIM II, had more complex tools to create more complex projects by learning how to use BIM to create curves and masses. Also, in this course we were taught some features in BIM that allows different parties and people to work on the project by learning how to use work-sharing collaborate using the same file. The project is an already built project that we were assigned to create to learn how to use BIM software to create complex architectural projects and to produce drawings as well as 3D renders by creating the project in three dimensions.
The project name is Watervilla De Omval .From the architect. Resting on the water, +31 Architects’ latest residence offers a gently curving form complete with a roof terrace. While the main level holds the living spaces, a flight of stairs brings residents to the terrace which offers wide views over the Amstel. I had to look at the plans and import them to the software and I started modelling the project and adding walls, windows, furniture. Then I started applying materials and textures. After that I rendered the project using BIM rendering tools using different lighting to achieve the final render. Finally I took the final rendered image to Adobe Photoshop and did the post-production work on the image like adding the sky, trees, human figures, and some other elements......
