Unreal Engine

ABANDONED ALLEY

I developed this project after taking an amazing course on Udemy by Vince Petrelli. I also applied some insights from other online courses I've been learning. Through this project, I learned about blending materials, using mesh and foliage paint, applying decals, Vertex Painting, and adjusting object materials to match the scene's colors.

Upon reaching the rendering phase, I wanted to experiment and have some fun. I utilized Unreal Engine's Virtual Production tools, connecting my phone to the software. This enabled me to capture a shot of a person running and then falling down. I had a lot of fun in the making of this project.

ENVIRONMENTS

These are my first environments that I created using Unreal Engine 5. As part of my ongoing learning journey, I created this island environment inspired by the courses I've been taking online.

MATERIALS

Unreal Engine Progress 🚀
Sharing my first Master Material creation in Unreal Engine! 🎨
I created this material to have full control over all aspects, including UV, Base Color, Metallic, Roughness, Specular, Normal, and AO. Additionally, I took a dive into switch parameters for customization and creating various options and controls. In the process I took a look at Channel Packing (ARM/ORM) and how it works in unreal engine.

Thanks to an amazing course on Udemy by Vince Petrelli, I've been able to create some basic materials, dissolving materials, and moving materials using UV coordinates. During this process, I learned several new nodes and how to use them to achieve the desired effect. It's been a fantastic learning experience so far!
